Nitrous Puck systems come in various configurations, offering adjustable horsepower levels ranging from 50 to 500 HP. Designed for installation in most 4150/4500 flange carburetors or EFI single-plane intake manifolds, the Nitrous Outlet Puck boasts a unique design that ensures highly precise distribution across cylinders, even without direct porting.

The Puck is installed into the machined plenum floor of the intake manifold. Nitrous oxide and fuel are introduced through the floor of the intake plenum into the bottom of the Puck. This setup fills the inner channel and releases the mixture in a 360° pattern directly into each intake runner, optimizing distribution efficiency.

Not only does the Puck provide a clean installation, but can easily be hidden, and is a perfect option for applications that have limited hood clearance.

How does the puck compare to direct-port or Stinger nitrous plates?

  • Direct Port:
The Puck is like a direct-port application in the sense that it is discharging directly into each individual intake runner, however you do not have the ability to adjust nitrous and fuel volume per intake runner like you would with a direct-port application.

  • Stinger Nitrous Plates:
The Puck uses a similar technology used in the Nitrous Outlet Stinger plate series. In many ways it is very similar to the Stinger 3 Plate in the sense that the nitrous enters from a single-entry point, filling the inner channel, discharging in a 360° pattern directly into each intake runner.

The Puck also shares the same internal flow technology as the Stinger 2 and Stinger 4 however, it does differ in how the mixture of nitrous and fuel are delivered into the intake runners. Unlike the Puck, the Stinger 2 and Stinger 4 are designed to saturate the intake plenums incoming air flow and allows the engine to pull the atomized mixture into each intake runner.

Construction:

The Nitrous Outlet Puck is CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum, anodized black and CNC engraved with the Nitrous Outlet logo. The Puck is designed to work in most 4150/4500 flange carb or EFI single plane intake manifolds. The installation of the puck requires sending the intake manifold to Nitrous Outlet. Nitrous Outlet machines the intake plenum floor and installs the Puck making sure that the Pucks Discharge ports perfectly align with each intake runner.

How do I get a Puck?

Orders for the Nitrous Outlet Puck are like our spray bar and direct port installation process. You will need to contact a Nitrous Outlet sales representative. The sales rep will work one on one with you to build a quote based upon your exact needs and intake manifold design. Once you approve the quote the sales rep will need some info from you to fill out a fabrication sheet, then provide you with a fabrication order number to write on the box when your intake manifold ships to Nitrous Outlet. Once your intake arrives at Nitrous Outlet the sales rep will contact you to let you know it arrived safely and to go over any final details. When the fabrication department and intake specialist are finished building your system the sales rep will contact you to finalize your order for shipment back to you.
