Extended Reach Cone:
The Stinger 3 features our revolutionary extended reach cone designed for deep-plenum 4150 and 4500 flange intake manifolds. The extended "Stinger" sits farther down inside the intake plenum, helping prevent nitrous from contacting the sidewalls on intakes with a tall plenum or spacer plate while positioning the discharge closer to the intake runners.
Precise Atomization:
The Stinger 3 features a unique cone-shaped discharge design that protrudes from the bottom of the plate into the center of the intake throat. The nitrous discharge exits from the Stinger into the intake plenum in a 360° pattern, providing even saturation of the incoming air charge and directing nitrous toward the intake runners for consistent distribution.
Construction:
The 4500 plate and cone are CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum. The plate features a black anodized finish with engraved Nitrous Outlet branding and N2O entry markings, while the extended Stinger cone is anodized red. Premium gaskets, hardware, and nitrous jetting for 50-100-150-200-250-300-350-400-450-500-550-600 horsepower shots are included. This Race Solenoids Forward Conversion utilizes our .178 nitrous solenoid, capable of supporting up to 600HP.
Prefabricated Hardline:
This conversion kit includes an anodized aluminum single-solenoid offset "Boomerang" bracket and a pre-bent hardline to position the nitrous solenoid forward for a clean, compact, professional installation.
Dry Nitrous Application:
This is a dry nitrous conversion that injects nitrous only. Additional fuel must be supplied through the vehicle's fuel system, requiring properly sized injectors and appropriate engine and fuel management to compensate for the additional nitrous.
Application:
The Stinger 3 is designed for vehicles using a carburetor-style 4500 flange intake manifold and is compatible with carbureted and EFI applications. The extended-reach design is particularly well suited for deep-plenum intake manifolds where positioning the nitrous discharge closer to the runners can improve distribution.
