As you’ve noticed we have changed our Ride of the Week cover photo contest to the Ride of the Month cover contest, this gave us the opportunity to show everyone the Sponsored Ride of the Month. For the second week of each month we will be posting the Sponsored Team/Vehicle as our cover photo.
This Month’s Sponsored vehicle goes to Klutch Kickers and their LS swapped ’92 Nissan 240sx, running our Nitrous Outlet Holley Hi-Ram Single Stage Spacer Plate. We asked the guys at Klutch Kickers why they chose a Nissan S13, their answer was simple. “The aftermarket support and proven recipe made it easy to work with” which then lead us to ask what they were running under the hood. Which with no surprise it wasn’t the stock engine, the 240sx is running a LS3 with a T6060 trans. Spraying a 100 shot with a few engine mods the car is putting down 710hp to the wheels, making it very competitive in the track.
Klutch Kickers began 2 years ago this coming May, with a goal to build an apparel brand while out on the road competing in drift events and working their way up to the FD Pro Level. They saw firsthand how much money it truly takes in trying to compete in a Pro Level Drift Series, with that knowledge they asked their selves “What if we build our own track?” This question then motivated them to build their track in August of 2019 and held their first event in October of that year. After a successful first event, they began working on a plan to see if they could begin hosting events with payouts, to put money back in the drivers hands and provide relief from the expenses of traveling to events. After much planning they held their first payout event in December of 2019 as a trial run with a pay out of $5,000 to the top 3 drivers.
With such great success, they started planning for 2020 Drift series, which as you know we are a proud sponsor. With a total of $100,000 in payouts spread out to 5 events, anyone and everyone is welcome to participate. Be sure to check out Klutch Kickers 100K Drift Seriesand register for the next event.
