This weeks Ride of the Week is an '89 Fox Mustang owned by Louis Loffredo! Louis went to buy a transmission in 2016; the transmission just so happened to be sitting in the back of the car. After inspecting it, Louis ended up buying the whole ’89 Mustang at a really great deal and began a new build. When we asked Louis what he loves most about cars, he responded with “Lots of fun to build and drive something you created yourself”. Pretty sure most of us would agree. Louis’ family has been part of drag racing since the 60s starting with his grandfather and it has become a family tradition to build your own car and race. He participates in classes like Grudge/Street, stock block, pump gas. His main driving technique is "Wide Open Throttle, while spraying all the nitrous!". His 1989 Ford Mustang is powered by a 306ci SBF with a nice Stinger 2 nitrous plate kit Power is then transferred from his C4 transmission to an 8.8 rear end, turning a beautiful set of Weld Pro Star wheels. Check out his car below!!
